Tasty Recipe that Needs No “Healthifying”!

Tasty by BuzzFeed is fun, quick, and yes – tasty 😉 But not all of the recipes are healthy. This One Pan Chicken is great and can be modified to include your favorite veggies.

Also, if you marinate the chicken first (even for 30 minutes), the results will be much better because the juices will penetrate deeper into the chicken breast…

My fave marinade (for 2 chicken breasts):

  • 1/4 cup avocado oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • juice from a lemon
  • 4 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 – 2 tbsp Herbs & Spices: I like Herbs De Provence w/ Salt & Pepper OR Cumin, Turmeric & Paprika w/ Salt & Pepper… get creative, but make sure to season appropriately.

Pop the rinsed & patted dry chicken breasts into a ziploc and pour in marinade. Rub marinade around chicken while holding the bag. Marinate up to 24 hours in the fridge, or as little as 30 minutes on the counter.
