Sweet & Healthy: Apple Cinnamon Dip

I have a major sweet tooth – even when I’m not pregnant I constantly crave sweets. So I’ve custom crafted this recipe to be sweet, but not sugary, and satisfying, but not heavy. Its a healthy take on a great dip! Oh, and it takes about 5 minutes to make 🙂

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 Cup unsweetened, organic, apple sauce
  • 1/2 Cup whipped cream cheese
  • 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon
  • Blender or food processor
  • Small bowl
  • Rubber spatula

Let’s get started:

NOTE: ADULTS ONLY set up the blender or FP. Children should NOT handle the blade.

Step 1: Put all of the ingredients in the blender or FP and blend until smooth.

Step 2: Use rubber spatula to push unblended dip into the blender (ONLY WHILE OFF).

Step 3: Dip with apple slices, fruit chips, pretzels, or my favorite Gluten Free (whole grain) Waffle sticks – toast the waffle and cut it into strips.
