You are like a Stove
I was recently watching a monthly card reading for my sign: Libra (woot!), and some of the FengShui tips were about cleaning out your stove for optimal financial possibility. While I was excited for the card reading part, the stove clearing part really grabbed my attention.
Apparently your stove is a representation of your ability to manifest abundance. So if you have a grimy stove, your ability to rake in the big buck$ is limited. Interesting eh? I’m a clean-a-holic, but sometimes I ditch extra pans and pots in the stove because I have no other place to put them. Dang things are blocking my financial flow! Time to clear it out.
Also, she mentions that a powerful attraction exercise is to turn all of your burners on until they are red hot, once a day for 9 days. It made me think… is the stove a metaphor for more than just financial abundance?
How often am I turning on all of MY burners? What about you?
We are creatures of habit and fall into routine in many areas of life, love and business. How often do we turn on parts of ourselves that we are not quite comfortable with? What about in business? Are we maximizing our potential? Or working as hard as required or necessary to get the job done?
Fear is our biggest stop sign in reaching our full potential in life, love and business. Insecurities can pop up unannounced at anytime. Wheeling it’s ugly head until all of your burners are shut off.
How can we burn our brightest?
Recognizing and letting go of fears is the first, middle and last step of the process! It’s a wash, rinse, repeat scenario where you need to continue to check in with yourself and be honest with what is holding you back.
For me, it’s the fear of judgement. Am I good enough? Smart enough? Pretty enough? Do I deserve love, good, and happiness? Sometimes I think “hell yeah I deserve that!”, and other times I think “well, if I just did a little more. If I just tried harder, or changed a little, then I’d deserve it.”.
Here’s the hard truth… we ALL deserve happiness, but we can’t get out of our own way long enough to achieve it.
Take a step back and look at the happiest times in your life. When you accept the good, more good comes. When you revel in the bad, guess what? Yup, MORE bad.
So what did I learn from the FengShui expert? DON’T BE AFRAID TO LET YOUR BURNERS BURN HOT! ALL OF THEM!!! LET GO OF INSECURITY AND FEAR AND LIVE YOUR DAMN LIFE!
That’s all for today. Hope my ramblings have been helpful on your path you happiness!
